What to Expect

This fashion illustration course bundles together my paper and digital courses. You will meet with me, your instructor, for five 3-hour Sessions and two 1-hour Sessions through Skype every 2 weeks on your chosen weekday/time from the instructors available picks.

Every session, you will be assigned projects to practice and upload through a private Google Drive folder for review the following session. After every video call, you can ask questions and send photos of your projects progress for quick input through Skype. Each assignment is a part of creating your final professional design portfolio for the class.

This course is like college, only BETTER! Not expensive, accessible online any day and time from any device, with an outcome goal, and with individual attention to your skills.

For this fashion illustration course, you will need a webcam or your phone camera, and a Skype account for the video calls. You'll also be downloading the 30-Day Free Trials of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, if you don't already have them.

Frequently Asked Questions


How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After our last session together, you'll get to keep all the lessons recordings and access your Fashion Academy account for LIFE.
When will we be meeting?
Right after signing up, you'll see my Skype username to start communicating with me. You'll pick a weekday/time from my available slots, and we'll be meeting every 2 weeks after our first session. Classes are flexible too, so if you need an additional week to work on assignments or something comes up for our meet day, you can let me know and we'll push lessons.
Will I need to purchase the Photoshop and Illustrator programs?
You won't need to purchase them unless you want to. Creative Cloud (www.adobe.com/creativecloud) provides a 30-day free trial without card input to new users, so you would download the programs after our 2nd Class to follow along with the digital lessons.
What difficulty level is the course?
This course is for beginners that want to enter the fashion world through potential design careers. How am I going to fit this into my busy schedule?
It's understandable that plans often change and you might already have a busy schedule, and that's why I've spread out our sessions so that you have 2 weeks to work on the assignments. Great time to really express your personality in your work without pressure!
What if I am unhappy with the course?
I would never want you to be unhappy! If you're unsatisfied with the course after working on the assignments and talking to me about what you feel is missing, but there is nothing I can do to satisfy your requests, Ill give you a full refund. Just make sure to talk to me before Session 3. Once we meet for Session 3, there are NO refunds-NO exceptions.
What if I love the lessons, but something comes up that I have to leave?
In this situation, I have a couple options for you :) OPTION 1: You can choose to keep your account active and come back in the future, where we'll select another weekday and continue your lessons. OPTION 2: You can request a partial refund, which will be calculated based on the number of lessons you already completed.
